KABADDI – MEMBERS of the kabaddi competition’s organising committee in the third Asian Youth Games welcomed technical delegate Kuldeep Kumar Gupta to the kingdom.
Gupta was greeted at Bahrain International Airport by the committee’s senior officials, including competition manager Hitesh Sikka, technical manager Jagdeep Singh, venue manager Manjinder Singh, administration manager Gaurang Shah, and photographer Sajid Butt.
His visit aims to ensure that all kabaddi operations and technical arrangements meet the standards and guidelines set by the Asian Kabaddi Federation and the Olympic Council of Asia.
Gupta’s arrival underscores Bahrain’s readiness to host one of the most anticipated sporting events of 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Sikka expressed his delight, stating: “We are honoured to welcome the technical delegate to Bahrain. His visit marks an important phase in our preparations and reflects our commitment to delivering a technically sound, fair, and exciting kabaddi competition for young athletes from across Asia.”
The technical delegate will conduct detailed inspections of the competition venues, athlete facilities, technical equipment, and officiating arrangements. This visit will also focus on fine-tuning match operations and ensuring seamless coordination among all event departments.
