Esports – BAHRAIN is set to be represented by five youngsters in esports, which will be making its debut at the third Asian Youth Games in the kingdom.
The Bahraini team includes Hussain Ali Al Jowder, Mohammed Al Yaqoobi, Nasser Aqeel Ismaeel, Sayed Ali Adel Alawi, and Yousif Fawaz Ghaleb. They will be competing in three games, including E-football, Street Fighter, and Rocket League.
This milestone participation follows the official inclusion of esports in the Asian Games nearly four years ago in China, under the Olympic Council of Asia. Since then, esports has become an integral part of modern sports, combining entertainment, technology, and professionalism.
The Bahraini team continues their intensive preparations for the upcoming competitions, aiming to deliver strong performances in this historic first appearance and to represent the kingdom honourably while showcasing the talent and ambition of Bahraini youth.
Bahrain’s participation in esports marks a new addition to its sporting achievements and aligns with the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s vision to support young talent and expand national engagement in emerging global sports.
