JIU-JITSU – Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, sons of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the closing ceremony of the Elements Jiu-Jitsu Academy Championship, held in the presence of GSA CEO Dr Abdulrahman Askar.
Shaikh Faisal and Shaikh Abdullah followed the final day’s competitions, which featured strong participation and high technical levels, reflecting the ongoing progress of jiu-jitsu in the kingdom.
At the conclusion of the championship, Shaikh Faisal and Shaikh Abdullah gave away the awards to the winners of the various categories.
Ali Monfaradi of Elements Academy presented commemorative gifts to Shaikh Faisal and Shaikh Abdullah in appreciation of their attendance and support.
They expressed pride in the outstanding performances of the athletes and commended the spirit of competitiveness and determination displayed throughout the tournament.
They highlighted the importance of continuing to organise such events, which promote community sports culture and encourage youth participation in martial arts, including jiu-jitsu.
