THE timeless beauty of opera filled the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research in Muharraq on Monday night as soprano Cristiana Arcari and pianist Andrea Vigna-Taglianti delivered a stirring performance celebrating Italy’s rich vocal heritage.
L’italiano all’Opera was organised in co-ordination with the Italian Embassy and featured masterpieces from Antonio Vivaldi, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Vincenzo Bellini, among others .
