FOREIGN Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani held a telephone call with Egyptian Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty, congratulating him on the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
He commended the efforts of the Egyptian government in constructing the landmark, which embodies Egypt’s rich ancient civilisation through its treasures and artefacts, and serves as a testament to the country’s ongoing development. He also conveyed his wishes to Egypt and its people for continued progress, prosperity, and advancement.
The two ministers discussed the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and their peoples, along with means to enhance co-operation and maintain ongoing co-ordination in all areas that serve mutual interests and strengthen joint Arab co-operation.
