VOLLEYBALL – Interlock B emerged victorious in The Indian Club Indian Expat Men’s Volleyball Tournament’, which came to a close over the weekend.
Interlock B claimed the title after defeating Al Reef Volley Fighters in the final, held at the club’s premises. The tournament featured 11 teams from across Bahrain.
Along with winners’ trophy and medals, Interlock B came away with a cash prize of $300, while Al Reef won the runners-up trophy, medals, and $200. A number of individual awards were also handed out.
Swastik from Interlock was named the Best Blocker, Junaid P from Al Reef was the Best Spiker, Amalraj from Interlock was the Best Setter, and Raju Pandu from Interlock was the Best Player.
The Indian Club executive committee thanked the tournament coordinators Ajith Kumar and Mohandas for their support in organising the competition.
