The national celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day 2025 reflects His Majesty King Hamad’s vision and belief in the role of women as key partners in national development, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, said yesterday.
His Majesty received a cable of congratulations from HRH Princess Sabeeka on the occasion of the day, marked annually on December 1.
This year’s theme of the celebrations is ‘Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation’.
She further noted that the international and regional recognition attained by Bahraini women is a direct outcome of the King’s unwavering support, which has empowered them to excel and innovate.
In response, His Majesty sent a cable of thanks to HRH Princess Sabeeka.
He expressed appreciation for her dedicated efforts and those of the SCW in elevating the status of Bahraini women and empowering them to contribute across all fields of the kingdom’s development.
The King expressed confidence that Bahrain’s comprehensive development process will continue to create substantial opportunities to strengthen the role and status of Bahraini women in society.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a similar cable from HRH Princess Sabeeka.
She commended the successes achieved by Bahraini women under the leadership of His Majesty and with the support of HRH Prince Salman.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister sent a cable of congratulations to HRH Princess Sabeeka, extending congratulations and appreciation for her efforts.
HRH Princess Sabeeka also received cables of congratulations from ministers, senior government officials and prominent citizens on the occasion.
