General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, was present.
The Interior Minister praised the BDF’s high level of preparedness, combat readiness, and efficiency in carrying out its duties and safeguarding the Kingdom in addressing the repercussions of the blatant Iranian aggression.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah highlighted the BDF’s national role and responsibilities under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation and joint coordination between the BDF and the Ministry of Interior in support of maintaining security and stability.
