The historic Pearling Path is buzzing with activity, featuring a rich lineup of cultural and interactive experiences, including art exhibitions and photography tours, as part of the Muharraq Nights Festival.
The tours, which will be held throughout the month, offer a curated range of experiences within an integrated cultural route and combine engagement with local heritage and contemporary initiatives in arts, culture and knowledge.
They are aimed at enabling audiences to gain a deeper understanding of the city’s urban and cultural development.
Artists and architects are invited to discover Muharraq’s rich heritage through the Sketch Tour. Guided by architects Judy Abi Rustom and Dina Abdullah, participants will explore multiple stops that showcase the city’s cultural and architectural legacy.
On Saturday, the tour will start at Suq Qaysariyah at 4pm and also includes stops at the Pearling Path Visitor and Experience Centre and Amarat Ali Rashed Fakhroo.
On December 20, the tour will start at Siyadi Mosque at 4pm and will go through the Siyadi House, Pearl Museum and the Siyadi Majlis.

Participants will explore Muharraq’s vibrant nightscapes, learning essential techniques in camera handling and scene composition. The workshop takes place on Saturday at 6pm, starting at Bu Maher Fort.
For those who want a dose of caffeine to go with their creative endeavours, the Paint and Coffee tour will be held on December 27, blending art, culture and coffee.
Participants will meet up at the Bu Maher Fort at 4pm and then explore Muharraq’s alleyways and heritage houses, before ending with a painting session at a café.
