Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday received Azerbaijan’s State Border Service (SBS) chief Colonel General Elchin Guliyev.
Gen Shaikh Rashid noted the commitment of both sides to strengthening co-operation and exchanging expertise to address security risks and challenges.
He highlighted that Bahrain’s experience in developing its border-control systems is based on employing modern technologies to manage the movement of travellers and goods, ensuring an optimal balance between efficient procedures and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
