A video of a white sedan caught between the boughs of a tree has been doing the rounds on social media, leaving commenters wondering how a car could reach so far high up.
According to an Al-Jarida report, authorities rushed to the scene only to discover that the site had none of the tell-tale signs of an accident- like brake marks or debris- indicating that the vehicle was deliberately lifted and placed on the tree.
Investigations revealed that a local TV crew filming a Ramadan series placed the car atop the tree, as part of a scene in the show, then left the vehicle there after wrapping up for the day.
The crew failed to inform local authorities of their stunt, leaving the car in a dangerous position that could cause harm to the public.
Security services have summoned the production crew of the series for further investigation into the lack of safety protocols.
