A man impersonating a police officer accidentally pulled over an unmarked police car carrying two undercover officers in New Zealand, leading to his arrest.
On Saturday night, the fake officer, driving a station wagon fitted with police lights, signalled for the real officers to pull over.
As he approached the officers, he quickly realised his mistake, but it was too late. The officers arrested him on the spot.
Later, the man failed a breathalyser test and attempted to flee, but was swiftly caught.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Christmas Eve.
