His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (1) of 2026, regarding the transfer and appointment of directors at the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, based on a proposal submitted by the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister.
Article (I)
Abbas Abdulla Hussain Arafat, Director of Vegetation Development at the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, shall be transferred to serve as the Director of the Afforestation and Parks at the same ministry, succeeding Ahmed Abdulaziz Ahmed Buasali.
Article (II)
Ahmed Abdulaziz Ahmed Buasali, Director of the Afforestation and Parks at the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, shall be transferred to serve as the Director of the Vegetation Development at the same ministry, succeeding Abbas Abdulla Hussain Arafat.
Article (III)
The Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict (2) of 2026, on the restructuring of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions, based on a proposal submitted by the Works Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (I)
The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions shall be reconstituted as follows:
- Dr Abdulla Yousif Taleb, Chairman
- Mohammed Mirza Al Oraibi, Vice Chairman
- Jawad Jaafar Al Jabal, Member
- Dr Isa Salman Qambar, Member
- Khalid Mohammed Al Ansari, Member
- Noor Jaafar Al Mutawa, Member
- Dana Mohammed Mudhafar, Member
- Bader Mohammed Al Mansoori, Member
- Fatima Fadhel Abbas, Member
Article (II)
The Works Minister and all relevant authorities, each within their capacities, shall implement the provisions of this edict and shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
