A father and daughter shared the joy of graduating from university on the same day in the UAE.
Mansour Ahmed Mansour and his daughter, Aisha, received their degrees from the University of Sharjah last week. The certificates were presented by Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The duo faced their own set of unique challenges during this journey. Mansour was completing his formal education after a gap of 20 years, while Aisha was juggling a full-time job as an operations manager at Dubai International Airport with her studies.
The pair believes that undertaking this experience together made it easier for them to support and encourage each other. Both graduates credited their families for creating an environment that allowed them to achieve their goals.
