CRICKET – Abu Saad Electronics Bassali claimed an impressive six-wicket victory against Sahico Combine CC in their Division A+ clash in the Khalid Bin Hamad 50 Overs Cricket League.
Chasing a massive target of 346 runs, Abu Saad claimed their win in 47.1 overs.
After losing early wickets, a sensational 210-run partnership in 167 balls for the fifth wicket between Sikdar Al Mostasim Billah and M Safdar completely turned the game in their favour.
Billah had 120 runs off 89 balls including 15 fours and two sixes, while a commanding and fearless knock under pressure saw Safdar claim 100 runs off 90 balls with 11 fours one six.
