The third edition of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival kicks off today at Riyadh’s historic Janadriyah Square.
Held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 10-day event features camel beauty contests and races for both male and female riders, with total prizes exceeding SAR75 million.
Since its inaugural 2024 edition, the festival has evolved into a global icon of heritage sports.
The 2025 edition saw record-breaking race times and expanded international participation from across the Gulf and beyond.
This year’s event continues that momentum, seamlessly blending traditional Saudi heritage with modern professional sporting standards.
