Officials from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) met representatives of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) to explore ways to expand co-operation in cultural tourism, heritage preservation and the promotion of Bahrain’s tourism assets.The meeting, held in Paris, was attended by BTEA chief executive officer Sara Buhiji and Unesco director-general Dr Khaled El Enany .
