A road in northern Riyadh collapsed after an underground water pipe burst due to ongoing construction work nearby.
On Friday afternoon, a significant section of the road gave way and traffic came to a halt as water flooded the area, forming a small lake.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities took immediate measures to prevent further mishaps and have commenced repairs on the damaged road.
