The annual six-month ban on fishing and trading in shrimps will make its return on Sunday, the Supreme Council for Environment’s General Directorate of Marine Resources announced yesterday.The ban, which will last until July 31, aims to preserve Bahrain’s stocks and protect its marine resources, in line with the kingdom’s efforts to achieve sustainable development in this sector .
