The Shura Council will discuss a draft law on establishing the headquarters of the International Date Observatory in the kingdom.
The proposed legislation ratifies an agreement between the Government of Bahrain and the International Date Council, attached to Royal Decree No (64) of 2025, paving the way for Manama to host the observatory as a permanent base for global data and research on the date sector .
