Customs president Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, led Bahrain’s delegation to the World Customs Organisation Technology Conference and Exhibition 2026, hosted by the UAE.
Shaikh Ahmed said the conference offered an opportunity to review modern customs technologies, exchange expertise among member states, and support the development of customs operations, border security and trade facilitation in line with international best practices .
