Bahrain has welcomed the outcome of the trilateral talks hosted by the UAE in Abu Dhabi, bringing together the US, Russia and Ukraine, which resulted in an agreement to exchange 314 prisoners between the Russian and Ukrainian sides under the US mediation.
A Foreign Ministry statement described the agreement as a positive step towards advancing a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis .
