BASKETBALL – AL Najma outclassed Manama 86-71 last night in their gameweek 12 contest of the 2025-26 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Najma were in control for virtually the entire game and powered ahead by as many as 28 points in the fourth quarter.
Ahmed Aldurazi and Cleanthony Early top scored for the victors with 18 points apiece. Aldurazi buried three three-pointers while Early came off the bench and also took down eight rebounds. Donovan Smith chipped in with 13 points and 10 boards while Ali Aqeel had 11.
Manama, who trailed 33-47 at the half and never recovered, were paced by Donoven Carlisle’s 21 points, while Ahmed Salman had 14.
Najma secured their seventh win in 12 tries in this season’s premier division, while Manama were dealt a loss for the fourth time to go with eight victories.
