Filipino American Association of Bahrain (Fil-Am Bahrain) recently staged a desert camping activity, in partnership with the Travellers Tribe Masonic Club Bahrain and Tri-Step Lodge No 99.
Around 200 participants enjoyed the event at Hamala Camp in Sakhir, sharing stories, laughter, and fellowship around a bonfire.
The theme ‘Three Forces. One Direction’ symbolised collaboration among the three groups and was reflected in the shared activities and games and group performances.
Fil-Am outreach chairman Grace Estacio was given a surprise tribute on her 60th birthday. Another highlight was the array of Filipino and American cuisines.
Fil-Am Bahrain president Orlando Fontanilla expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all, emphasising the importance of unity and volunteerism in sustaining meaningful community activities.
