Bahrain’s senior men’s volleyball national team have officially secured their place in the AVC Volleyball Continental Championships 2026 for men, which will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, in September.
The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) announced the nations that will be competing in the prestigious tournament, which acts as a qualifier for the LA 2028 Olympic Games as well as for the FIVB World Championship 2027.
Bahrain booked their seat as champions of the AVC Men’s Volleyball Nations Cup 2025.
The other qualified countries confirmed by the AVC were Australia, China, India, Iran, South Korea, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, and tournament hosts Japan.
The winners of the AVC Volleyball Continental Championships 2026 for men will represent Asia at the next Olympics, while the top three will all claim their places in next year’s worlds.
