THE Bahrain Sports Summit officially opens today at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir, to be held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Organised by the GSA, the summit features 50 speakers, including sports leaders, decision-makers, and experts representing 19 countries.
The summit will be attended by a number of dignitaries, along with representatives from sports federations, clubs, organisations, representatives from the education sector, and a select group of specialists and experts.
The Bahrain Sports Summit will be held over two days and it will address multiple topics, including sports management, investment, sports media, artificial intelligence, governance, talent discovery, and women’s sports, within the framework of consolidating the kingdom’s position as a leading regional platform for sports dialogue and shaping the future of sports in the region.
