HORSERACING – RASHID Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), headed by REHC High Committee member and REHC acting CEO Yusuf Buheji, is participating in the 41st Asian Racing Conference, currently being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, until Sunday.
A wide number of horseracing clubs and organisations from across the continent are taking part in the gathering.
Buheji emphasised the importance of attending the event, given its role in enhancing Bahrain’s presence at Asian and international meetings concerned with equestrianism and horseracing. He also highlighted its role in building bridges of co-operation with various horseracing clubs and organisations, fostering mutual benefits, exchanging ideas and expertise, and contributing to the development plans and objectives of the horseracing sector in the kingdom.
REHC’s delegation members took part in the conference’s various meetings, sessions and workshops, which included reviewing and discussing a number of topics related to horseracing activities across Asia, examining regulations and laws governing horseracing, and discussing current and future opportunities for the sector in economic, tourism, media and marketing.
They also explored solutions to address the challenges facing the sport of horseracing today.
