ENDURANCE HORSERACING – THE Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) will organise the His Majesty the King’s Endurance Cup Festival from today to Saturday at Bahrain International Endurance Village in Sakhir.
Breef president Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said the festival reflects the kingdom’s established position in international equestrian sport, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He noted that the event attracts elite riders from across the world and demonstrates Bahrain’s organisational capacity to host major championships.
The three-day programme begins with veterinary inspections for local qualifying races and the 120km junior and youth cup. Tomorrow will feature the 120km junior and youth race, alongside international and local qualifying races.
The festival concludes on Saturday with the 160km His Majesty the King’s International Cup and the 120km race for private Gulf stables, followed by the awards ceremony.
