A 55-year-old man, identified only as an Asian, died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway near the Seef area in the direction of Hamad Town. Authorities responded immediately to the scene and carried out the necessary procedures.
The incident occurred less than 24 hours after a 44-year-old man lost his life in a separate traffic accident on the same highway, near A’ali, heading towards Manama.
Hours later, authorities reported heavy congestion on the highway following a third accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were recorded in this latest incident, marking the third traffic-related event on the highway within a single day.
