AS part of government efforts to enhance and re-engineer the quality of services, the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry developed a service for the purchase or sale of movables for minors, enabling guardians and those with similar legal status to submit requests to buy or sell valuable assets, electrical appliances and other items.
Under the enhanced service, applications can be tracked through the Minor Affairs and Funds Service Centre. The service completion period has been reduced from 10 working days to five working days.
The parties’ approval form has been unified, and the required documentation has been limited to a single document. The service level agreement has been reduced by no less than 25 per cent, the application process streamlined to a maximum of four steps, and the number of required approvals reduced by 25pc.
Application forms have been converted into electronic formats, and service information unified across all channels, contributing to faster processing and improved procedural efficiency and quality.
As part of ongoing government efforts to develop and re-engineer government services, more than 1,300 government services have been documented, translated, and published, with around 800 services undergoing development and re-engineering across various government sectors.
