The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry has signed a letter of intent with The Helicopter Company (THC) to operate direct helicopter flights between Bahrain and the Saudi Arabian city of Dammam. This initiative will contribute to strengthening regional connectivity and providing flexible and rapid transportation options between the two cities.
The Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, signed the document at the launch event of the National Civil Aviation Strategy (2026–2027) on Sunday.
