Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has expressed pride in the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) personnel’s unwavering determination and loyalty in fulfilling their national duty.
HRH Prince Salman also commended their honourable sacrifices and contributions in advancing the kingdom’s progress, serving the kingdom and safeguarding its achievements when he hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet for senior BDF officers yesterday.
Upon arrival, he was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa were in attendance.
HRH the Deputy King was also welcomed by Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Abdulla Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and other senior officers.
He highlighted that the BDF’s advanced level of combat readiness has been achieved under the guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
On the occasion of Ramadan, HRH Prince Salman exchanged best wishes with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and senior officers, wishing the kingdom, Arab and Islamic nations continued security, progress and prosperity.
In turn, the BDF Commander-in-Chief extended his wishes for the kingdom and its people to continue enjoying security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty.
For his part, and on behalf of BDF personnel, the BDF Commander-in-Chief expressed his gratitude for the Deputy King’s commitment and unwavering support to the BDF and its personnel.
