Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa attended a reception and iftar banquet at the Saudi Arabian Embassy, on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day. The reception was hosted by Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi.
The reception was attended by Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani and a number of ministers and officials.
Shaikh Khalid highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and their continued development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reflecting the unity and cohesion between the two countries and their peoples.
The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the dedicated efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to enhance bilateral co-operation and advance the strategic partnership between both countries, particularly through the initiatives emerging from the Bahraini-Saudi Co-ordination Council.
He praised Saudi Arabia’s progress and developmental achievements across various sectors.
