CRICKET – The KCA-BFC Ramadan Soft Ball Cricket Tournament 2026 will commence on Thursday.
The tournament will be conducted under the leadership of the organising committee headed by Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) sports secretary Nixson Varghese; tournament convener Anto Joseph; joint conveners George Sebastian, Jithin Jose, and Joyal Jose; team co-ordinator Yasser; and ground coordinators Jince Joseph, Joby George, Roy Joseph, and Roy C Antony.
The competition will be held at the KCA grounds in Segaya.
Matches will be held from 7pm onwards.
The winners will receive a cash prize of $300 along with the winner’s trophy, while the runners-up will receive a prize of $150 along with their trophy.
Individual awards such as Man of the Final, Best Bowler, and Best Batter will also be presented.
As in previous years, officials expect more than 20 teams to participate in the tournament.
The teams will be divided into groups, and the matches will be conducted on a league basis.
