Parliament today moved to help citizens and businesses from the fallout of recent Iranian missile attacks.
It unanimously approving an urgent proposal calling on the government to establish a clear mechanism to aid and compensate those financially affected.
The proposal has been submitted by five MPs, led by Strategic Thinking Bloc spokesman Khalid Saleh Bu Onk.
According to the explanatory memorandum attached to the proposal, several private residences have sustained damage, placing heavy financial strain on their owners.
In addition, vehicles have been damaged and a number of small businesses have experienced work stoppages or equipment losses, directly affecting the income of owners and employees.
