As the holy month of Ramadan begins, a time marked by compassion, reflection, and generosity, Al Hilal Healthcare Group proudly continues its long-standing tradition of community support through the distribution of Iftar kits across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Under the initiative “AL HILAL CARES – A Helping Hand for the Needy,” the organisation reaffirms its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility by distributing Iftar kits at key traffic signals near all ten Al Hilal branches across Bahrain. Carefully prepared with essential items to help individuals break their fast, the kits are distributed shortly before Iftar, ensuring that those travelling or working during this time can share in the blessings of Ramadan.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, a team from Al Hilal Healthcare Group, led by Dr. Sharath Chandran, Chief Executive Officer of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, along with Mr. Asif Mohammed, Vice President; Mr. Franco Francis, Branch Head of Al Hilal’s Muharraq Branch; and Mr. Sahal Jamaludheen, Finance Manager, personally distributed Iftar kits at the Busaiteen traffic signal, alongside other dedicated team members. Their active participation reflects the leadership’s deep respect for the spirit of Ramadan and the organisation’s continued commitment to serving the community.
Dr. Sharath Chandran, Chief Executive Officer of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, said:
“During the COVID period, we started a campaign called Al Hilal Cares as a way to support our community. Since then, every year during Ramadan, our teams visit some of the busiest streets across Bahrain to distribute Iftar kits, ensuring that those who are on the road or working can break their fast on time. It is our small way of sharing the spirit of Ramadan and giving back to the community.”
Throughout the month of Ramadan, thousands of Iftar kits are distributed daily across various locations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, supported by teams from all ten branches. Al Hilal Healthcare Group remains committed to continuing this initiative in the years to come, strengthening its role in community care beyond healthcare services.
Al Hilal Healthcare Group extends its warmest wishes for a healthy and prosperous Ramadan Kareem to everyone in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
