His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, assigned Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to visit East Hidd City to check on the safety of citizens whose homes were damaged by the Iranian attacks.
Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam was present during the visit.
Shaikh Khalid affirmed that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, will remain resilient against any attempts to undermine the security and unity of its society, and is capable of overcoming all exceptional circumstances.
He stressed that the security of the nation and the safety of citizens and residents remain a top priority, and that the government is dedicating all its resources to continue the country’s development. He added that the Iranian attacks targeting residential buildings, private property and civilian infrastructure are desperate attempts that will not weaken Bahrain’s resolve or destabilise its society.
The Deputy Prime Minister conveyed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s concern for the safety of the affected citizens and his instructions that the government cover the repair costs for their homes and properties and provide appropriate solutions to ensure their stability.
He said this directive reflects the kingdom’s longstanding approach, guided by the vision of His Majesty, which places the welfare and protection of citizens above all. He added that the state will continue to provide full support, particularly under these exceptional circumstances.
Shaikh Khalid told residents that challenging times reveal the true character of the Bahraini people, and that such difficulties only strengthen their unity and solidarity behind their leadership.
The residents whose homes were damaged expressed their appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his directives and to the Deputy Prime Minister for his visit. They reaffirmed their unity behind the leadership of His Majesty and expressed confidence in the measures taken by the state to strengthen security, stability and protect national achievements.
