Board exams for the next week for students at Indian Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)-affiliated schools have been cancelled or deferred.
In an official circular issued yesterday, the board said that Grade 10 examinations scheduled until March 11 have been cancelled.
This includes examinations scheduled on March 2, 5 and 6, which were earlier postponed.
“The mode of declaration of results for Class 10 candidates in the Middle East will be notified separately in due course,” the announcement added.
With regards to Grade 12, the examination scheduled for March 7 has been postponed, with the board set to review the situation tomorrow and make a decision regarding exams scheduled from March 9 onwards.
“All Class 12 students are advised to remain in close contact with their schools and follow official announcements carefully,” the board added.
This decision affects schools affiliated with the CBSE in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
