His Majesty King Hamad received a written message from King Charles III of the United Kingdom. The British monarch expressed his deepest solidarity and support for Bahrain, and his rejection and condemnation of the Iranian attack targeting the kingdom’s territory.
King Charles III affirmed that he has been following the news of the attacks against Bahrain with growing shock and deep concern, noting the special place the bonds of friendship and mutual respect between the two friendly countries and peoples hold in his heart.
He also expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty, conveying his best sincere wishes and prayers for the swift restoration of peace and stability in the region.
His Majesty yesterday received the second telephone call this week from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
During the call, the UK Prime Minister reiterated his country’s solidarity with Bahrain and its strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom’s territory. He emphasised the United Kingdom’s support for Bahrain in safeguarding its security and the safety of its territory, citizens and residents.
His Majesty also received a phone call from King Philippe of Belgium.
The Belgian King expressed his country’s full solidarity with Bahrain and strongly condemned the Iranian attack that targeted the kingdom’s territory, underscoring Belgium’s support for Bahrain in all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
