HANDBALL – AL Ahli claimed a resounding 30-25 victory over Al Dair last night to kick off week 14 in the 2025-26 Khalid Bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League.
Ahli battled back from a slim 15-17 deficit at the half to take control of the contest over the final 30-minute period en route to the victory.
With the result, Ahli improved to 32 points following their 10th win to tie with Al Shabab on the league table. They are behind only Al Najma, who are on 36 points.
Ahli handed Dair their seventh loss to go with six wins as they went to 25 points in fifth on the 11-team standings.
The 14th week of league action continues tonight and tomorrow with another series of games.
This evening, Bahrain Club face Al Ettihad at 9pm; and then tomorrow, Barbar take on Al Shabab at 9pm and then Samaheej face Al Tadhamun.
