Bahrain, along with the United States and the United Kingdom, held extraordinary consultations under Article II of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
National Security Adviser and Supreme Defence Council Secretary General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa consulted with Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of the United States Central Command, and Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, all members of the C-SIPA Defence Working Group (DWG).
The members discussed the current security landscape in the region, notably the hostile Iranian aggression that seeks to blatantly undermine the security and stability of Bahrain and neighbouring nations.
