His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a telephone call from Iraq’s Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, who expressed full solidarity with Bahrain. He also condemned the Iranian attack targeting the kingdom’s territory, affirming support for Bahrain in all measures and steps undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
His Majesty noted that the people of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence, and that it remains committed to the path of peace and supports all efforts that enhance security and stability in the region and the world.
The King expressed appreciation to Mr Barzani for the support expressed towards Bahrain.
