His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a telephone call from Kuwaiti Crown Prince Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah.
Shaikh Sabah conveyed the greetings of Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to His Majesty King Hamad. HRH Prince Salman conveyed the greetings of the King to Shaikh Mishal along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.
Shaikh Sabah condemned the recent Iranian aggression against the region, noting that this action contravenes the international rule of law and jeopardises the safety of people across the region.
He stressed Kuwait’s commitment to the principles of mutual defence and security, emphasising that any attack on Bahrain or any other Gulf state constitutes an attack on Kuwait.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain’s strong condemnation of the attacks that impacted Kuwait and the region, reiterating the kingdom’s firm rejection of any actions that would harm Kuwait or compromise the security or sovereignty of members of the GCC.
He emphasised the kingdom’s solidarity with Kuwait and its unwavering support for all measures undertaken to preserve its security and stability.
