His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a message from Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte.
He expressed solidarity with Bahrain and conveyed his deepest regret in light of the ongoing and unacceptable Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom’s sovereign territory.
Mr Rutte strongly condemned the indiscriminate Iranian strikes affecting civilian populations, infrastructure and freedom of navigation.
He commended the partnership between Bahrain and Nato, which is based on a shared belief in the importance of stability in the Arabian Gulf region and beyond.
