They pointed out that the causeway is operating as usual, with truck traffic flowing smoothly and crossings taking place with ease and flexibility.
They added that the quantities arriving at the market are sufficient to meet demand.
Economists and businessmen stressed that Bahrain is unlikely to face problems related to food security even if the war continues for a prolonged period, noting that the kingdom possesses a strategic food reserve sufficient for several months ahead.
