HANDBALL – Al Shabab outclassed Barbar 38-28 last night in their week 14 match of the 2025-26 Khalid Bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League.
The game was played at the Bahrain Handball Federation Arena in Um Al Hassam Sports Complex, without any fans in attendance.
Shabab were in control for virtually the entire evening, powering ahead 22-12 at the half and maintaining their cushion over the closing 30-minute period.
With the result, Shabab joined defending champions Al Najma and fellow title-contenders Al Ahli – along with Al Ettihad – as winners so far in the 14th gameweek.
Shabab improved to 35 points in second place on the 11-team table with their 11th win in 13 outings.
They also handed Barbar only their fifth loss to go with eight wins as they went to 29 markers in fourth on the standings.
