A government office block in Kuwait City was engulfed in a huge fire early Sunday.
Kuwait's Army said in a statement on X that some civilian facilities had sustained material damage as a result of debris and shrapnel falling from the interception operations.
The government building, housing the headquarters of the Public Institution for Social Security, was still smouldering on Sunday morning as firefighters extinguished the blaze that engulfed the structure earlier in the night.
