The Commander of Royal Medical Services, Major General Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today visited the King Hamad University Hospital to follow up on the condition of those injured after missile fragments fell on a university building in Muharraq.
The official affirmed that all medical and nursing staff were providing necessary care to those injured, who are now in a stable condition.
He further stressed the readiness of hospitals to deal with emergency cases during these times.
Also present during the visit was Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) - Medical University of Bahrain’s president, Professor Sameer Otoom.
