His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has affirmed that Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad, is resolute in its efforts to promote coexistence within the community, noting that the strength of the kingdom is rooted in the resolution and determination of its people.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking during a meeting with several religious leaders at the Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Centre, as part of the King’s directives to protect the kingdom and its people, in line with developments faced by Bahrain following the ongoing hostile Iranian aggression.
He conveyed the greetings of the King to the religious leaders, as well as his wishes for them to promote tolerance and understanding during the blessed month of Ramadan, and enhancing the spirit of responsibility and co-operation for the benefit of the kingdom and its people.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the profound importance of gathering in a place of worship, which serves as a living embodiment of the kingdom’s values of unity and solidarity, and a steadfast rejection of all efforts to incite discord or division. He affirmed that these enduring values, rooted in the kingdom’s faith and heritage, are integral to preserving its national institutions and maintaining its stability and security in confronting all challenges.
He stressed the importance of religious leaders serving as role models within their community by spreading awareness and fostering a sense of unity and solidarity in the face of strife. To this end, he expressed his gratitude for the awareness and responsibility of Bahrainis and stressed the importance of their loyalty to the kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman expressed his pride in the role played by the personnel of the Bahrain Defence Force, who have valiantly safeguarded the nation against Iranian aggression. He commended the steadfast efforts of the Interior Ministry in upholding security and public order and strengthening the safety and wellbeing of society, paying tribute to the dedication of its officers and staff.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to all those who expressed their loyalty and supportive stance, noting that these positions are a source of pride and are deeply valued.
Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda were also in attendance.
