His Majesty King Hamad today directed the disbursement of the annual Eid Al Fitr grant to families supported by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), reaffirming his commitment to supporting beneficiaries and sharing in their joy during the festive season.
The directive, issued by His Majesty in his capacity as Honorary President of the foundation, orders the distribution of the Eid grant for the year 1447 Hijri (2026) to all families under the RHF’s care.
The gesture comes as part of The King’s longstanding approach to support beneficiary families and assist them in meeting their needs as they prepare to celebrate Eid Al Fitr.
His Majesty also instructed the foundation to follow up on procedures to ensure the grants reach the families in a timely manner.
Marking the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM The King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the RHF Board of Trustees, said the initiative reflects the King’s noble humanitarian vision and his continued care for families supported by the foundation.
Shaikh Nasser said the gesture embodies the values of solidarity and social cohesion that have long characterised Bahraini society, noting that His Majesty has consistently been keen to share in the joy of families during religious and national occasions.
He also extended congratulations to His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as the people of Bahrain and residents of the kingdom on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr.
Shaikh Nasser prayed that the occasion returns with goodness and blessings for all, and that Bahrain continues to enjoy security, stability and prosperity.
Meanwhile, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dossary, expressed pride in the royal gesture, praising His Majesty’s keenness to bring happiness to beneficiary families.
He said the initiative would help families prepare to celebrate Eid Al Fitr in an atmosphere of reassurance and stability.
